The Schering Plus Add-on Fellowship annually supports up to six exceptional postdoctoral researchers in the life sciences in the Berlin-Brandenburg area. The fellowship is aimed at fellows eager to challenge traditional boundaries and introduce new perspectives and methodologies to their scientific work. Starting in September 2025, this three-year fellowship provides each postdoc with a financial grant of 9,000 euros. Therewith the fellowship offers opportunities for both personal and professional growth, with the flexibility to use the financial support in a way that best suits the fellows’ career path and research needs.

This fellowship will provide financial support and allow recipients to engage deeply with the Schering Stiftung’s interdisciplinary network and diverse program that bridges art and science. This initiative seeks to cultivate a dynamic environment where innovative ideas can flourish, enhancing the fellows’ research and broadening their academic horizons.

We welcome applications from motivated researchers committed to advancing their scientific careers. We especially encourage participation from those traditionally underrepresented in the sciences. The call for applications will be published on February 2, 2025.
