The fellowships have a duration of two years (24 months). Funding includes up to EUR 12,000 in total for individual research support and networking. The funds can be used flexibly for research stays, conference attendance, further training, event organization, procurement of research materials, data collection, open-access publications, and activities in science communication.

In addition to financial support, the fellows are supported through at least one annual in-person meeting to facilitate networking and communication among themselves, along with training opportunities.

Event Series — Series

Schering Plus supports outstanding doctoral candidates and “young” postdocs (up to two years after their doctorate) in the life sciences in Berlin and Brandenburg.
