The Schering Stiftung honors the Mexican artist collective Colectivo Los Ingrávidos with the Schering Stiftung Award for Artistic Research 2026. In 2026, the award is presented in cooperation with KW Institute for Contemporary Art for the ninth time. The 15,000-euro award includes a solo exhibition at KW, for which the artist collective will create a new artwork as well as a publication. The exhibition will be curated by Liberty Adrien, chief curator at KW, and is scheduled to open in autumn 2027.
