Where and how do memories get stored in the brain? Where and how does music get stored in the brain? What is the memory of music associated with? What is the relationship between remembered emotions and remembered music? Why do we remember some tunes, but not others? Why do older people often remember melodies and lyrics from their youth more easily than many other things? When does a catchy tune become a tune from hell like in the case of Count Monterone’s curse in Verdi’s Rigoletto?
