In this episode, we once again turn our attention to the program “Max – Artists in Residence at Schools,” a project in the field of aesthetic education of the Stiftung Brandenburger Tor that the Schering Stiftung has been supporting for two years. After the Carl-Humann Elementary School in Berlin in 2020, the Schering Stiftung currently supports the residency of artist Anne Mundo at the Schule im Nibelungenviertel and the Grundschule an der Hasenheide in Bernau.
In the podcast, Anne Mundo talks about her work with the students in the five years of her artist residency and about the public presentation of the artworks created in the process at Bernau’s town hall in November 2019. In addition, the restrictions on the program due to the coronavirus pandemic are the topic of the conversation. Caroline Armand, the head of the Aesthetic Education program at the Stiftung Brandenburger Tor, reports on the expansion of the program, which was originally limited to Berlin, into the Brandenburg region.
