For the second time the Schering Stiftung supports the 23rd European Students’ Conference. The conference aims to present and discuss the latest achievements and opportunities in the field of human organ and tissue replacement.
The program includes contributions from a variety of medical disciplines such as surgery, immunology, regenerative medicine, and biotechnology. The discussions will also focus on ethical questions related to these issues.
In addition to attending lectures, the participants will be able to participate in sessions and workshops to present their research to the public and an expert jury and enhance their practical skills. Moreover, they will have the opportunity to make valuable contacts with fellow students, companies, research groups, and professors.
The ESC was founded by medical students in 1989, with the goals of improving the scientific dialogue between East and West following reunification and of promoting international networking among the biomedical sciences, faculties, and students. The Ernst Schering Foundation supports the conference, because it makes an important contribution to promoting excellent young scientists and helping them build international networks.
