On September 7, 2021, the Schering Stiftung awards two sciences prizes for pioneering basic research in medicine, biology and chemistry in Berlin.

The Foundation honors Aviv Regev with the 50,000-euro Ernst Schering Prize 2021. Aviv Regev is considered a pioneer in the field of single-cell biology and has broken new ground by combining the disciplines of biology, computation, and genetic engineering.

The Schering Stiftung awards the 10,000-euro Friedmund Neumann Prize 2021 to Judith Feucht for her contributions to developing and implementing T cell therapies to improve clinical care for cancer patients.
