The Schering Stiftung awards the Ernst Schering Prize 2025 to Volker Haucke for his pathbreaking research on signaling lipids, which revolutionizes our understanding of cellular processes and enables new therapies for cancer and neuronal diseases. The prize comes with a prize money of 50,000 euro.

The Schering Stiftung awards the Young Investigator Award 2025 for the first time to Dr. Agnes Toth-Petroczy for her outstanding work on the evolution, diversity, and function of proteins – especially those that are still largely unexplored.
