The Berlin Foundation Week is held for the sixteenth time. From April 1 to 11, 2025, Berlin-based foundations offer programs and events around this year’s central topic – “… AND JUSTICE AND FREEDOM.”

Freedom is a colorful term. Happy are those who are free of constraints. Still happier are those who are free to act and actively shape things. Foundations are able to do just that: They have the right and the obligation to do good, to focus on people and topics that otherwise receive too little attention. Over the course of eleven days, exhibitions, panel discussions, talks, and other events will reflect on, discuss, and present the topic.
