The exhibition Omi Libations brings together biological research and spiritual practice in the form of a temple dedicated to water. In the West African Yoruba culture, Yemoja is revered as the deity of rivers and seas, as well as all beings living within them. Offerings can be made to her within the temple. This expansive installation provides a space for reflection, where biology, architecture, spirituality, and ecology converge.
The exhibition opening will take place on April 21 at 6 p.m. at the Schering Stiftung.
