These and other questions will be discussed at the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities on February 19 by Gabriele Brandstetter, professor of theater studies at Freie Universität Berlin; Reiner Delgado, head of social division of the German Federation of the Blind and Partially Sighted; and Martin Grunwald, head of the Haptic Research Laboratory at the University of Leipzig. The discussion will be moderated by science journalist Volkart Wildermuth.

The discussion will be followed by a theremin concert by the German-Sorbian musician Carolina Eyck, one of the world’s best theremin performers.
