Bohlmann Lecture

From 2004 to 2018, the Bohlmann Lecture has been supported by the Schering Stiftung. The lecture is organized annually by the Department of Chemistry of the Technical University of Berlin.

The Schering Stiftung funded the lecture to strengthen the international networking of scientists and make visible renowned experts as role models for young scientists. In addition, the lecture makes it possible for a broader public to partake in the latest scientific findings.

The Bohlmann Lecture was launched by the Technical University of Berlin and Schering AG in 1989 on the occasion of the retirement of Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Bohlmann, who held the Chair of Organic Chemistry at the Technical University of Berlin since 1959.
