Schering Prize

honors the best dissertation in the field of chemistry


The Schering Prize is valued at 5,000 euro and was awarded from 2004 until 2018 annually by the Schering Stiftung. The three universities of Berlin may nominate candidates for the award that honors the best dissertation in the field of chemistry. Before is was awarded in cooperation with the Society of Friends of the Technical University of Berlin for the best dissertation in the field of chemistry at the Technical University of Berlin. The prize was awarded for the first time in 1986.
